They include preschool, preschool class, primary school, adapted primary school, after-school care and youth center. Ugglan Adapted Primary School (grades 1-9) is a development-oriented and pleasant facility in Surahammar's town center. Currently the school receives approximately 20 students. At the adapted primary school Ugglan, students study subjects or subject areas according to the adapted primary school curriculum. We are looking for someone who is positive and has a good ability to create wonderful relationships with students, guardians, colleagues and other staff with warmth and joy. In working towards the goals, it is important to follow common routines in combination with creativity and solution-focused thinking for the students' benefit. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are looking for someone who is at least a certified preschool teacher/after-school care teacher and wants to work with support for students in the adapted primary school. You are with the students during the entire school day, both during lessons, breaks and in after-school care. Together with the teaching teachers you work closely with the students to create conditions for learning towards the goals and participation in teaching. You work together actively to adapt the instruction, provide adequate care and develop alternative working methods and use compensatory aids to create an accessible and inclusive learning environment. We work together to create a coherent whole with learning throughout the day and a connecting thread between school and after-school care for the students, and in this work you have an important role. That we work together in school and after-school care where we collectively help each other create the best conditions for our children/students is our strength. QUALIFICATIONS You are at least a certified teacher with minimum qualifications for teaching in preschool/after-school care. You are a positive person with a good ability to create fine contact with students, guardians and colleagues. You listen, communicate and solve situations in a constructive way while creating engagement and participation. You find collaboration forms easily and see the work team as an asset. Furthermore, you are engaged with good social skills that contribute to a positive work climate and have the ability to create trusting relationships. You work from a clear structure and have good pedagogical skills. As an educator you adapt the instruction according to each student's unique conditions and see school development as a natural part of the assignment. To understand students' different needs you need to have good analytical and pedagogical ability, high expectations and a conviction that all students can develop. We place great importance on your personal qualities and previous experience. Employment form: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 3-6 months. Before you can be employed you need to present an approved extract from the police's suspicion register and from the criminal record register that is no more than 6 months old. In connection with the interview you need to verify your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or alternatively a personal certificate together with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, EU, EES or Switzerland you must present that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the obligation to have a work permit.
