With us, you will meet students in a smaller school environment where good relationships, work enjoyment, and close collaboration between students and adults are at the center. Böle Byskola is a stable independent school located in a beautiful natural setting on Annersia, 5 km south of Östersund. The school's profile is Nature and Movement. We have the forest and lake in our immediate vicinity and the schoolyard is well-equipped with a varied selection of activity areas. Almost all of our more than 130 students attend after-school care. There, students are divided into 3 groups. We are looking for someone who is warm, attentive, and genuinely interested in supporting children in their development. You have a natural ability to create trusting relationships and meet each student based on their individual needs and circumstances. In your role as a student assistant, you work closely with students and educators to create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment. You help remove barriers to learning and support students in their knowledge development, independence, and social interaction. The goal is for each student to be given the best possible conditions to develop and reach as far as possible based on their circumstances and educational goals. You have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish in both speech and writing. You can communicate clearly and professionally with students, guardians, and colleagues, and document when the task requires it. As a person, you are confident in yourself and have a calm and professional approach. You can meet both joy, frustration, and setbacks with patience, stability, and respect. You have good social skills, are collaboration-oriented, and contribute to a positive climate for both students and colleagues. We would like to see that you: Are a clear and confident adult role model. Have a natural ability to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. Have the ability to adapt your approach based on the student's needs. Can remain calm and focused even in challenging situations. Have good collaboration skills and a solution-focused approach. See each student's opportunities and strengths. Experience working with children and young people is a merit. We place great importance on personal suitability.
