For our kitchen operations at Ringhals Nuclear Power Plant, ISS is seeking a positive and engaged person to work as a Restaurant Assistant. Our guests include preschool children, students, hospital patients, care facility residents, and staff meals. We need to strengthen our team at our Ringhals Nuclear Power Plant operations! We serve today's lunch, conference lunch, business lunch, and salads. A large part of our operations is catering, and we love serving our guests and providing them with an experience beyond the typical lunch restaurant. To thrive with us, you should be flexible, a team player, and love food. During inspection periods, we also have a fully equipped food truck and grill tent in operation. Your responsibilities: As a restaurant assistant, you will work with serving meals and food preparation in the cold kitchen. Today's salad, raw vegetable buffet, sandwich cakes, and more. You will work both in the cold kitchen and food truck. You keep your station clean and neat and deliver high-class service to customers. Your duties also include dishwashing, cleaning, receiving deliveries, and other daily kitchen tasks. Good knowledge of quality control and special diets is a merit. You will work closely with the restaurant manager. Your profile: We are looking for someone who is service-oriented, responsive, responsible, and proactive with a genuine interest in food and service. You thrive in the role as a company representative and share ISS's commitment to delivering world-class service. This means you should have a high level of service and good overview of your work station. You have an easy time building good relationships with both customers and colleagues. We would like you to have experience working in the restaurant industry. It is important that you master the Swedish language. A B-class driver's license is required. Other information: The position is a general fixed-term employment on part-time/hourly basis during inspection periods with a start in August. Evenings and weekends may occur. There is potential for extension on a part-time/hourly basis. Interviews are ongoing and for the right candidate, the position may be filled before the final application deadline of August 18, 2026. The work location is Väröbacka. According to the security protection law, you will need to pass a security clearance and provide consent for a criminal record extract to be granted access to Ringhals nuclear power plant, as this is classified as a protected facility.
