About Hemmestaskolan Hemmestaskolan is an F–9 school with approximately 630 students, located in a nature-close area in Värmdö, just 30 minutes from Slussen. The school is characterized by close and well-functioning collaboration between school and after-school care. We offer an inclusive operation with a municipality-wide class for students with language disorders and are also a receiving school for newly arrived students. Our well-equipped facilities, together with proximity to sports facilities and library, create good conditions for both learning and well-being. Your Assignment As headmaster you have overall responsibility for the school's operations with a focus on: • driving development toward increased goal achievement and higher teaching quality • leading systematic quality work with clear analysis and follow-up • ensuring a safe, inclusive and professional learning environment • developing the school's student health work and support measures • creating context and direction in an F–9 operation This is a role for you who want to work in a municipality with clear direction and high ambitions. You will have the opportunity to lead a school with good expertise, desire for development and structure. The assignment includes continuing to develop an operation where student health and teaching collaborate. Here you as headmaster can make a real difference through your pedagogical leadership close to the operation. Your Experience We are looking for you who are a confident and clear school leader who combines strategic focus with relational leadership. You have: • pedagogical degree and teacher certification • completed headmaster education • experience in school leadership within primary school Through your experience as a school leader you are well familiar with working with: • budget and finance • systematic occupational health work • personnel management and union collaboration • student health work and special support • development of teaching and results Your Leadership Profile We are looking for you who are a present and confident leader who builds trust, creates engagement and gets the organization to work toward common goals. To succeed in the role you need to: • be clear, structured and decisive • have a well-developed analytical ability linked to results • lead through presence, communication and trust • create participation and motivation among your employees • hold the whole together in a complex organization We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
