JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Are you the leader we are looking for? We are now seeking a principal for Linåkerskolan grades 7-9. Here we work to ensure that every student receives the best conditions and choices to influence their own future. Together we create a safe and stimulating learning environment where students are given the opportunity to develop both socially and academically. All students are offered equivalent high-quality education based on their own circumstances and needs. In your role as principal, you have personnel, financial and operational responsibility for the school and drive the work together with the assistant principal. You participate in the education director's management group together with all principals in the municipality, from preschool to upper secondary and adult education. There we work on, among other things, development and quality issues and you get the opportunity to participate in various projects to promote children's learning across the municipality. You are also part of our network group for all primary school principals where you support each other in various tasks. You lead and develop education throughout the primary school and create good conditions for a high-quality primary school. The curriculum's values and mission permeate the operations and with close leadership and the student in focus, you drive and develop the operations together with your employees. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is well familiar with school's regulations and legislation and who is passionate about development work. It is a requirement that you are attending or have completed the state principal training and have experience as a school leader, preferably from middle school. As travel occurs in the position, a driver's license (Category B) is a requirement. As a leader you are confident, responsive and clear, with the ability to create conditions for continuous development of leadership, culture, structure and systematics. You see possibilities and have high expectations for your operations. You focus on goals, results and quality and are a good strategist who can organize and lead. Your knowledge of the laws and regulations that govern school operations is good, as is your knowledge of language development work. You have the ability to inspire, engage and build trust to conduct school development through a coaching and trustful leadership style. You are digitally competent and know how to take advantage of the opportunities that digitalization offers to create value.
