We are looking for you, an engaged rector who wants to challenge our wonderful children to discover and learn At Första steget, we strive to be a preschool that is fun, safe, and educational for all children who participate. We want to offer children a good pedagogical education, where care, upbringing, and learning form a whole. We also want to provide education and instruction that inspires children to make new discoveries and gain knowledge. Now we are looking for you who wants to drive the preschool forward together with the organization's fantastic educators and create a rewarding place for children to develop. Första Steget is a small preschool with a maximum of 40 children divided into three departments: Junibacken 1–2 years, Bullerbyn 2–6 years, and Saltkråkan five-year-old group. We strive to have small groups of children and good staff density. We are located approximately 10 minutes by car from Ekerö center, at the beautiful natural setting of Nyckelby. The preschool has a large yard with proximity to both forest and Rosenhill. Position Part-time 50% Responsibilities As rector, you are pedagogically responsible for development work and leading systematic quality work based on the rector's responsibilities in the curriculum. You will also have overall financial responsibility for the preschool and other internal operations. Who are you? You are a trained, licensed preschool teacher. As a leader, you are interested in an exploratory approach with pedagogical documentation as a tool. You can lead the team, have good collaboration skills, and build good relationships with colleagues, children, and guardians, as well as lead people through change processes. You are clear in your communication and have the ability to combine theory and practice in your daily work.
