WORK TASKS Do you want to work in a team where you make a real difference in people's daily lives? Now we are looking for a rehabilitation assistant to Hammarö municipality for a temporary position of 8 months. As a rehabilitation assistant, you will be part of a team consisting of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, and assistive device technicians. The position is directed towards both ordinary housing and special housing for the elderly (SÄBO) in the municipality. In your role as a rehabilitation assistant, you will, among other things: • Carry out rehabilitation measures • Support users in exercise and daily activities • Implement and instruct training programs according to prescription • Handle and install assistive devices and provide support regarding their use • Document and follow up on measures • Collaborate with licensed personnel and care staff • Contribute to the development of working methods and routines Start as soon as possible. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with experience working as a rehabilitation assistant and who is trained in the field. Alternatively, you have a qualification as a nursing assistant or care worker. The position requires a Class B driver's license and good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. You are a responsible and flexible person who enjoys working both independently and together with others. You have good collaboration skills and a professional approach in your interactions with both colleagues and patients. Furthermore, you are organized and have the ability to plan and prioritize your work efficiently. We also see that you have a genuine interest in rehabilitation and in working with people. It is an advantage if you have experience working in municipal health and medical care, as well as knowledge or experience with assistive devices and training measures, and transfer training. Great weight is placed on personal suitability. In accordance with the law on criminal records checks for work in the homes of elderly people and adults with disabilities, anyone offered employment must provide an extract from the criminal records and suspicion register from the Police Authority. The extracts are requested only after an employment offer has been made. Employment form: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 6 months or longer.
