Description Would you like to work in a team where you make a real difference in people's daily lives? We are now hiring a rehabilitation assistant for Vännäs Municipality for a 6-month temporary position. As a rehabilitation assistant, you will be part of a team consisting of occupational therapists and physical therapists. Responsibilities The position is directed toward both regular housing and special accommodation for the elderly (SÄBO) in the municipality. In your role as a rehabilitation assistant, you will, among other things: • Carry out rehabilitation interventions • Support users in training and daily activities • Implement and instruct training programs according to prescription • Handle and install assistive devices and provide support regarding their use • Document and follow up on interventions • Collaborate with licensed personnel and care staff • Contribute to the development of work methods and routines Start date as soon as possible. Qualifications We are looking for someone with experience working as a rehabilitation assistant and who has education in the field. Alternatively, you have training as a nursing assistant or care assistant. The position requires a Class B driver's license and good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. You are a responsible and flexible person who enjoys working both independently and together with others. You have good collaboration skills and a professional approach in your interactions with both colleagues and patients. You are also organized and have the ability to plan and prioritize your work efficiently. We also see that you have a genuine interest in rehabilitation and in working with people. It is advantageous if you have experience working in municipal health and social care as well as knowledge or experience with assistive devices and training interventions, as well as patient transfer training. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. In accordance with the law on background checks for work in the homes of elderly people and adults with disabilities, anyone offered employment must provide an extract from the criminal record registry and suspicion register from the Police Authority. The extracts are requested only after an employment offer has been made. Starting salary for a trained nursing assistant is 27,600 kr/full-time. Vännäs Municipality applies individual and differentiated salary setting. Terms Temporary position for 6 months with the possibility of extension.
