Description Do you want to work at the heart of municipal democracy and contribute to transparency and order in public administration? One of our current colleagues in the Social Welfare Sector will be on parental leave, and we are looking for you to be the hub of our case management during her absence. Work Tasks The position is a combined role as registrar and board secretary. In this combined role, you ensure that the board's work is conducted in accordance with applicable legislation and that the authority's document management maintains high quality. The assignment is central to our democratic processes functioning and for the operation to be able to provide secure and legally sound support to the municipality's residents. As a registrar, you are responsible for digital and physical mail opening and registration of documents. You provide support in managing comments and providing access to public records. Together with a colleague, you will be responsible for board administration for the two boards under the Social Welfare Sector. This means that in close cooperation with the sector manager and the board's chair, you create convocations and minutes, coordinate documents and mailings, ensure quality of decision formulations, and be an important link between politics, citizens, and staff in the sector and municipality. Within the sector, there is a well-established structure to follow, and you will have access to an experienced colleague for support. You will also participate in a working group with registrars and board secretaries in the municipality. Qualifications You have a higher education degree with appropriate focus, such as public administration, political science, or other higher education that the employer deems equivalent. You have good knowledge of the Municipal Act, the Administrative Act, and the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act. We would like to see that you have knowledge of and interest in legislation governing the boards' activities. We would like to see that you have previous experience working in a politically governed organization and experience with modern case and document management systems. The position requires high demands on accuracy, responsiveness, and the ability to create and maintain good relationships in both internal and external contacts. Good communication skills, courteous manner, ability to cooperate, and a professional approach are prerequisites. You should have good knowledge of Swedish, a good ability to express yourself well in both speech and writing, and good computer skills. Great weight is placed on personal suitability. Conditions Full-time. Fixed-term employment for one year with the possibility of extension. Other Selection may take place continuously during the application period. Interviews are planned for weeks 26 and 28. Criminal Record Check Before offering employment, you as a candidate are required to present a criminal record check for work in any of the following areas: school or preschool, work with children in activities other than school and childcare, work with children according to LSS, work at or in connection with HVB homes, work with elderly or persons with disabilities.
