We handle everything from lunch services and conferences to large events and catering – always with a focus on quality, service, and people. About the Position As an accounting economist with us, you will independently be responsible for large parts of daily financial management and work closely with the operations and our unit managers. The role is broad and varied, suited for someone who enjoys both operational work and developing procedures and working methods. The position comprises approximately 80% accounting work. The remaining part of the position can be tailored to your profile and may include work with bookings, administration, social media, or other operations-related tasks. The position includes, among other things: Ongoing bookkeeping Customer and supplier accounts receivable Bank reconciliations Tax account reconciliations VAT reporting and reconciliations Tax returns Accruals Depreciation Updating asset registers for purchases and sales Reconciliation of payroll liabilities, vacation accrual, and employer contributions Handling preliminary income tax and pension costs Monthly reporting and reconciliations Support to operations on financial procedures and processes You will also be involved in creating and improving financial procedures and support and train our unit managers to build better financial understanding and financial management in the organization. We Are Looking for You Have at least 2–3 years of experience with independent work in accounting and bookkeeping Have post-secondary education in economics or equivalent work experience Are confident with monthly closings and financial reconciliations Are well-organized, thorough, and responsible Enjoy working independently while having strong collaboration skills Are unpretentious and like working close to operations Experience with Fortnox is a merit. Experience from the restaurant industry is also a plus.
