Job Description As a project manager, you will lead maintenance, investment, and service projects within local networks (0.4–24 kV). You will work closely with both customers and production, where understanding of practical field work is crucial for success. You create good relationships with our customers and colleagues with the goal of building long-term partnerships where both parties develop. You will work with comprehensive assignments from preparation and planning through execution and closure. The work includes performing tasks in a safe, professional, and profitable manner with high quality. As a project manager, you have a directing and leading role with responsibility for the technical, administrative, and financial aspects of projects. You lead projects through the entire chain – from design to completed installation – and work closely with installers, planners, project administrators, and subcontractors. To succeed in the role, you need a good understanding of how field work functions and be able to translate practical experience into effective project management. As a project manager, your work tasks will consist of driving multiple projects with good quality, which includes the following: • Build good and long-term customer relationships • Work planning of resources and materials • Lead your team safely and forward-focused toward goals and through changes • Prepare budgets and monitor them • Prepare schedules and monitor them • Prepare and manage request for quotations • Conduct procurements • Strategic purchasing in collaboration with the procurement department • Invoice management • Project administration • Contract knowledge and business law decisions • Subcontractor & supplier contacts You report to the department manager and as a project manager, you share responsibility for the department's results. Who are you? You have a technical college/university education and work experience as a project manager within local networks as well as good technical understanding. If you have experience from field work, for example as an installer in local network operations or experience as a planner from local network operations and want to take the next step into a project manager role, we see that as highly meriting. You are confident in your professional role and have the ability to lead others by combining structure, professionalism, and practical understanding. You are solution-oriented, systematic, and good at building trust both internally and externally. You thrive in a role where you get to take responsibility, make decisions, and drive projects forward – while respecting the details in execution. To succeed in the role, you need technical and financial understanding, and an eye for business opportunities. You are good at creating trustworthy and long-term customer relationships. You are both solution-oriented and systematic. It is meriting if you have knowledge in contract law and experience working in business systems such as IFS or similar.
