About the position In the role of Project Manager (internally called Sub-project Manager), you'll be part of a section consisting of other project managers. The section's mission is to staff the organization's projects and product programs with strong leaders. You'll work in a central product program for our client, where you'll lead engineers in projects related to electrical products with substantial software content. The role is project-focused and operational – you lead people in their delivery rather than having line or personnel responsibility. The work involves a mix of hardware leadership, test leadership, systems-level leadership, and aftermarket-related work, making the role both varied and developmental. Since the organization has a large software section, it's important that you have an agile and software-oriented mindset, even if you don't code yourself. You'll work closely with other project managers, senior project managers, technical project managers, and software, hardware, and test teams. Responsibilities Lead engineers in technical development and improvement projects Work as a sub-project manager in larger projects and product programs Conduct project meetings and coordinate work across different disciplines Conduct one-on-one conversations with project participants Work with scheduling, follow-up, and delivery Collaborate closely with software teams and work according to agile principles Contribute to structure and progress in complex system environments Required qualifications Experience working as a project manager or in a corresponding leadership role Experience leading engineers in technical projects Good understanding of software-oriented development and/or agile approaches Fluent Swedish and English, spoken and written The position is classified for security. Prior to employment, you must undergo a security clearance and be approved according to applicable security protection regulations. This may entail requirements for certain citizenship. Desirable qualifications Background as a Scrum Master, agile coach, or project manager in software-heavy environments Experience in systems development, test leadership, or system integration Experience from defense, advanced technology, or other complex product development Technical background in, for example, IT, systems, electrical engineering, or similar About Framtiden At Framtiden, we work with both staffing and recruitment.
