About the Position As a project coordinator, you'll have a central role at our project unit. We are responsible for implementing facility projects within Örebro Municipality. This includes: water and sewer system expansion and renewal development areas urban development projects reinvestment in existing facilities In this role, you are responsible for receiving, structuring, and prioritizing incoming orders and matching them with the right project manager based on competence and capacity. You work proactively and create conditions for our projects to be implemented efficiently and with high quality. You identify upcoming investment needs and play an important role in creating forward planning in resource allocation. The role also involves being a systems specialist for our project management tool, where you serve as a link between operations and IT by identifying and communicating needs and development opportunities, as well as ensuring operational value. Examples of work tasks: manage and coordinate incoming project orders prioritize based on operational needs allocate resources to assignments and projects create and maintain oversight of both client needs and resource capacity systems specialist for the project management tool create reports and follow-ups in the project management tool About the Workplace At the Project Unit, 38 employees work to provide support for Örebro Municipality's expansion and renewal of infrastructure. In the role, you are structured, analytical, and have an ability to see the bigger picture, with a clear service focus and good collaboration skills. You are comfortable in a coordinating role with multiple parallel processes and have an interest in system support and digital development. As a project coordinator, your communication skills are central—you express yourself clearly and adapt your message to both context and audience. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Requirements: academic degree of at least 180 credits in a relevant area experience in project administration, coordination, or management very good digital skills and ability to work in various operational systems B-class driver's license Merits: experience from the construction/facilities industry experience with project management systems such as Antura or similar systems experience working in public sector operations experience with Power BI experience with case management/record keeping Scope and Start Date Employment type: permanent employment Employment level: 100% Start date: by agreement Number of positions: 1 Other Information In our recruitment process, we use Assessio's MAP and Matrigma tests.
