About the School Praktiska Gymnasiet in Nyköping offers students a concept where theory is combined with practical exercises both at school and at workplaces. At Praktiska, we set high standards for ourselves to create the best conditions for educational and enjoyable learning. Our teaching is characterized by flexibility, proximity, and practical learning. Our program offerings include: BF, VF, IN, and the introductory program. Currently, the school has approximately 220 students and about 28 staff members. Our facilities will be partly entirely new by fall, as we are expanding by 900m2 and will be located a 5-minute walk from the bus terminal in Nyköping city center. You will teach and mentor our students in Swedish and English, and work alongside colleagues in a team. We see you as an important and driving force who, with students at the center and in collaboration with colleagues, will help develop both the program and the subject. In addition to subject-specific duties, you, like other teachers at the school, will take on roles such as mentor and together with your colleagues coach students both socially and academically throughout their three years at Praktiska Gymnasiet. We communicate primarily through Schoolsoft and work in a Google environment through sharing digital documents, calendars, and plans. This applies equally with both students and colleagues. Your Profile We are looking for someone who is a certified upper secondary teacher in English and Swedish. We place great importance on personal qualities.
