What we offer you As a natural sciences teacher with us, you'll step into a dynamic and engaging role where theory meets practical action. You will plan, implement, and develop teaching in Natural Sciences and Companion Animals. Your days will be filled with interactions with students who share your passion for animals and nature. This position is a temporary contract at 80% for the coming academic year, but for the right person there are good opportunities for extension. Here you'll have the space to turn your passion for companion animals into pedagogical and exciting lessons – both in the classroom and in our upcoming practical learning environments. What we're looking for We're looking for someone with strong subject expertise in natural sciences with a particular focus on companion animals, and we'd like you to be a certified teacher or have a pedagogical education background. If you have previous experience teaching or working in the animal industry, that's highly valuable. Since our vocational track is Animal Care – working with dogs, it's a clear bonus if you have an extra soft spot for dogs and enjoy four-legged colleagues in your daily work. As important as your formal qualifications is your personality. We're looking for a confident and engaged leader in the classroom who has a natural ability to build good relationships with young people. You are flexible, solution-oriented, and enjoy working as part of a team, while maintaining a structured work approach.
