About the Position We are now seeking several personal assistants for permanent positions and summer substitute work for a young man living on Älgö in Saltsjöbaden. These are approximately 50% positions starting immediately, with good opportunities to work additional hours if needed. Work hours are scheduled as follows: Weekdays 10:00–16:00 or 16:00–22:00 | Weekends 10:00–22:00 As a personal assistant, you will be an important support in the client's daily life—both at home and during leisure activities. The role involves being a trusted companion, creating structure, and contributing to a stable and positive everyday life. You will need to support with practical tasks while also providing security, motivation, and joy in daily life. The client lives an active life and enjoys basketball, tennis, exercise, and walks with his dog. Therefore, we are looking for someone who also enjoys physical activity and is willing to participate in various activities together with him. The client has cerebral palsy and a moderate intellectual disability. You will receive individualized orientation and support in all aspects of the work and the client's routines. We are Looking for Someone Who: Has very good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written Has good physical capacity Is at least 18 years old Has experience with low-affect interaction and has handled challenging behaviors It is a Merit if You Have: Experience working as a personal assistant or in care and support services Knowledge of and experience with the target group within LSS (Swedish disability support system) Education in care and support services or similar Good computer skills Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is confident, calm, and patient even in stressful or unpredictable situations. You are positive, engaged, and responsive to the client's needs and wishes. You take responsibility, are reliable, and create a sense of security around you.
