We are now seeking personal assistants for a 24-hour care assignment. You will work as a temporary substitute during vacancies and other absences. Summer temporary work opportunities may be available. The client is a 60-year-old man with a muscular disease who requires support and assistance around the clock. He uses a wheelchair and is transferred using a ceiling lift. He primarily needs help with breathing and respiratory equipment. He also needs assistance with dressing and undressing, taking medication, hygiene and showering. Help with shopping, preparing and organizing meals, as well as portioning food and assistance with eating. Help with routine household chores such as cleaning and laundry. You will also accompany the client to appointments such as hospital and medical visits. The man has interests in cars/motorcycles and animals. He sometimes dog-sits for friends and acquaintances, so you should not have allergies or fear of dogs. He wishes to be able to go out more for shorter activities and outings. We believe you should be at least 40 years old and have some life experience. Great importance is placed on personal suitability and that cooperation between the care team and family works well. You are social and outgoing, and are someone who wants to organize activities and can motivate others to participate. You are also responsive and empathetic to the client's daily condition and needs. It is extremely important that you master Swedish in speech and writing for good communication between client and assistant. And to be able to document important information. Working Hours Shifts are: Day shift 7:00-15:00, evening shift 15:00-23:00, night shift 23:00-07:00 You should have a Class B driver's license, as the client lives some distance from the city center.
