About the Position Personal assistance is a service under LSS (the Act on Support and Services for Certain People with Disabilities). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that arises in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves respecting the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributes to making everyday life run smoothly. Each assistance arrangement is uniquely tailored to the client's life, so work tasks may vary depending on the workplace. The client's individual needs determine your workday, and your work may include, for example, assistance with mobility, personal care, exercise and communication, as well as household chores and activities inside and outside the home. Who Are You? The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, there must be good personal chemistry between you as an assistant and the client. For this position, you must: have a driver's license and access to a car to get to the workplace have good knowledge of Swedish be smoke-free during work hours tolerate fur-bearing animals For this position, it is an advantage if you: have experience in personal assistance or a similar care profession Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Work Hours, Employment Level, and Salary The current employment form is "hourly employment," which means work as needed. Work hours are scheduled between 09:00-21:00, 21:00-09:00, or as 24-hour shifts. During the night, there are 7 hours of on-call time. Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement. Start date immediately or by agreement.
