Personal Assistant for an Active and Cheerful 23-Year-Old Guy

I'm a 23-year-old guy who enjoys having fun and living an active life, but I need support in my daily activities. I currently live with my family in Åkarp but plan to move to my own apartment in Lund in the fall. I'm active and enjoy swimming, cycling, walking, taking buses and trains, and going on outings. I also enjoy baking, crafts, and photography - pictures are an important part of how I communicate. I'll soon be starting at a new daily activity program in Lund. As my personal assistant, you'll support me with personal care and everyday tasks, with me being as involved as I can be. You'll help me with structure, communication, and enable activities both at home and outside. I'm hearing impaired and have a visual impairment and am considered deafblind, but I use my remaining vision well. I communicate using sign language, TAKK, and pictures. Experience is a plus, but what matters most is that you're attentive, engaged, and willing to get to know me. I have 24-hour assistance with some awake nights and on-call shifts. There's dual assistance during all waking hours, except at the daily activity program where you're my medical assistant and support me with tasks and communication with others. The Position You'll start as a part-time employee with the possibility of a full-time monthly contract at approximately 85 percent. Work hours are scheduled during days, evenings, nights, and weekends. I'm mainly looking for someone who can work evenings and nights, but also a few day shifts. Flexibility and the ability to step in during sick leave is a big advantage. Preferred start date is immediate or by agreement. Your workplace is where I am - in Åkarp, at the daily activity program, in my apartment in Lund, or on activities. Communications to the apartment are good, both from Malmö and within Lund. I'm looking for assistants who are: - Responsible and confident - Attentive and take initiative - Active and enjoy being on the move - Comfortable working closely with another person - Good at working both in a team and independently Education or experience working with children, adults, or people with multiple disabilities is a plus, but personal suitability and good rapport are what matter most.
