Personal Assistant for a Child, Skövde

We are currently looking for you to become a personal assistant for a child who lives with their family in Skövde. What does this position involve? As a personal assistant, you will support an energetic and cheerful child whose disability sets limitations in everyday life. Your work tasks may include: Support with meals and personal hygiene Motivating and activating work Communication using signs and pictures The child has autism and communicates without speech. Sometimes situations may arise where the child becomes outwardly aggressive, and it is important that you feel confident handling this in a calm and professional manner. It is desirable that you have experience with low-affective interaction. The position is part-time with varying hours (day, evening, and weekends). We are also looking for a summer substitute and a substitute who can step in as needed. Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone who is engaged, respectful, and attentive.
