We are now seeking personal assistants for a client with autism, intellectual disability, and epilepsy. The client prefers female applicants at this time. Introduction and work will begin during the summer, with a good opportunity for a permanent position starting in the fall. In the fall, the work will also include accompanying and supporting the client in her daily activities. We are looking for someone who is calm, confident, and has great patience. You need to be able to handle situations with a low-affect approach and have the ability to redirect, motivate, and "work around" when the client becomes fixed or exhibits problematic behavior. It is important that you can create a sense of security and build a good relationship with the client. We would like to see that you: - Are responsible and attentive - Have a calm and stable demeanor - Are flexible and solution-oriented - Have experience with autism or similar work (an advantage but not required) Great weight is placed on personal suitability.
