Personal assistance is a service under LSS (the Act Concerning Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to people who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity, and help ensure daily life runs smoothly. About the Position The role of personal assistant requires a strong ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you enjoy an active job and like activities such as cycling and varied work tasks, as some time will be spent at school. The girl lives in a house with her father, so it is also important that you can collaborate well and genuinely enjoy making a difference in someone's life. You need to be calm and secure as a person and able to work in a low-key manner. This is the first time we are recruiting for this girl, which means we are steadily and long-term building an entirely new work team. Working Hours, Position Level, and Salary: The current employment form is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts" with a position level of 75-80%. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evening, and weekends. Working hours are roughly as follows, and you work every other weekend: approx. 06:30-15:15 (single assistance at school) approx. 15:15-22:30 (double assistance at home) Start date is immediate or by agreement. Working at Humana A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID document and any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old. Under applicable legislation, we as an employer must request a registry extract from all employees who will work as a personal assistant to a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you must present an extract from the police criminal record and suspicion register prior to potential employment.
