A man who needs round-the-clock personal assistance following an accident is now seeking a summer substitute, with the possibility of continuing as a substitute after the summer. Employment Type The position begins as hourly employment during the summer, with good opportunities for continued substitute employment after the summer for the right person. Work Hours Shifts are scheduled at: 08:30–21:30 15:00–21:30 21:00–09:00 Work hours are planned in consultation with other assistants. About the Client The client values an active and social life. He enjoys: Long walks Puzzles and crafts Sports Gardening He also has a great interest in cars and loves to talk about everything from car talk to everyday thoughts. The home is shared with a beloved cat – therefore, it is important that you are not allergic to or dislike cats. Work Tasks You will help with everything that occurs in the home, both practically and socially. Work tasks include, among other things: Personal care and hygiene Daily lifting and use of lift equipment Walks and transfers Cooking and household chores Support with the client's interests, such as gardening depending on the season If you enjoy cooking and have an interest in gardening, that is definitely a plus – the client is himself very knowledgeable about garden care and enjoys sharing his knowledge. We are seeking a man or woman in middle age who is: Willing to work, cheerful, and social Physically strong and able to handle several lifts daily Comfortable with long walks Non-allergic and positive toward cats Non-smoker (smoking is not permitted in the workplace) If you additionally have an interest in cars, that is an asset.
