It is a merit if you have previously worked as a personal assistant. The work involves shifts around the clock. Would you like the opportunity to dedicate your entire workday to a single person where you have time to see, listen, and help in the way that person wishes. This means you help another person live as independently as possible. You are the one who should compensate for that person's functional limitations and help with both big and small things. The work often involves assisting with transfers, dressing and undressing, personal hygiene, household management, participating in leisure activities, and more.
