About the Job Are you our new colleague? We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with a qualification in Mathematics. About Us 2047 Science Center works to strengthen scientific capital among the population of Dalarna and is part of the region's strategic competence supply. We are a hub for knowledge transfer. We have a popular, public experimental environment in Borlänge and operate a pedagogical specialist organization linked to STEM. It is the latter that we are now looking to strengthen with an additional certified Mathematics teacher. Together with our pedagogical specialist organization, you will work to strengthen pedagogical development work in schools. Within the framework of collegial learning, you will lead teaching development through, among other things, creating lessons (student activities), observing teachers, or modeling lessons to inspire. We teach and inspire from preschool to upper secondary school – and we spread interest in science, technology, and mathematics to the general public of all ages. About the Position The position involves work with: developing instruction aimed at teachers and students students in Borlänge and Falun municipalities during our developed lessons (student activities) science center pedagogy in Borlänge to inspire and spread knowledge of mathematics, science, and technology The position is a permanent part-time employment at 50%, starting August 10, 2026. A six-month probationary period applies. This is a temporary holiday replacement position. 2047 Science Center is located in Borlänge with a branch in Falun, where the activities are mainly aimed at students in Falun municipality. Some work will also take place in other locations within the scope of our assignments. A B-class driver's license is therefore required. Work may sometimes involve evening and weekend hours. According to law, an extract from the Swedish National Police Board's criminal record register is required upon employment. This is ordered from the Police by the person who is offered the position.
