Job Responsibilities As an operator with us, you will work with, among other things: - grinding, welding, and operating traverses, where you participate in the entire long rail production process - straightening and finishing long rails, where you ensure that all welds are perfect and the rails are ready for transport - handling rails and track switch bearings and being responsible for unloading, loading, and handling rails and track switch components - repair work and performing minor repairs as needed In addition to the above, if you have a safety service certification, you will also operate locomotives and handle switching on side tracks. The work therefore requires that you have high safety awareness and follow all rules and directives carefully. It may be necessary to work 2-shift schedules during part of the year. We are a dedicated team that produces long rails for various projects in Sweden. Since we are the only facility in Sweden that performs this work, you get the opportunity to learn from the best and develop your expertise in a unique environment. We also deliver shorter rails and track switch components daily. Your direct manager will be Lars Nilsson, and I am driven by collaboration, participation, and achieving the goals we set together. Qualifications Who are you? You are a problem-solving oriented person with the ability to handle and solve complex challenges, both technical and organizational. You have good analytical skills and can identify and solve problems in a structured way. This role involves a lot of interaction with other people. Therefore, we see that you have pronounced collaboration skills and thrive in a role where you work closely with colleagues and other internal functions. You are motivated by active employee participation where you take responsibility for your work tasks in a goal-oriented manner. Key skills to succeed in this role are precision and safety awareness. It is therefore of great importance that you have a strong commitment to following rules and directives and you are comfortable working in a high-tech environment where precision is the key to success. We are looking for you who: - have completed upper secondary education with technical focus, alternatively you have another education combined with relevant experience that we assess as equivalent - have approximately one year of experience in equivalent work - have a B driver's license for manual transmission - can express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish It is also desirable if you have: - side loader certification - wheel loader certification - traverse certification Welcome with your application!
