SiS Youth Facility Långanäs receives non-school-age boys with psychosocial problems, criminal behavior, and substance abuse issues. Job Description Do you want to help create vital change for vulnerable people? Then the job as Operations Manager is meaningful work. In your role as Operations Manager, you are responsible for facility-wide coordination and management of daily operations outside regular office hours—evenings and nights—to promote a safe care and work environment. You guide and support your colleagues in their work and ensure that operations are conducted lawfully and in accordance with applicable regulations, methods, and set objectives. Concretely, this includes responsibility for incident management during alarm situations and taking necessary measures following an incident. You communicate identified shortcomings and deviations from procedures to relevant managers. You prepare and update security assessments and make decisions on coercive measures according to LVU, LSU, and LVM in accordance with SiS's work and delegation procedures. You should also have: - Relevant higher education such as social work, behavioral science, or equivalent higher education, or alternatively at least two years of vocational higher education (treatment pedagogue) combined with experience working at SiS or similar operations. - Several years of experience working at SiS or another organization focused on care, treatment, and security, such as social services, health and treatment, correctional services, or other relevant operations. - Strong ability to lead, prioritize, and coordinate a work team.
