About Us We welcome individuals with neuropsychological disabilities as a step after HVB (residential care) with the goal of increasing the possibility of transitioning to independent living. We also welcome particularly care-requiring individuals with dual diagnoses and substance abuse issues. Eken Transition Unit Floby is located approximately two miles west of Falköping. In a nature-close residential area, we have 18 fully equipped apartments distributed across three two-story buildings. We work salutogenically, with motivational support and low-intensity approaches to help residents strengthen their social, psychological, and practical abilities, including training in activities of daily living (ADL) and social skills. The foundation is motivational work complemented by ESL. The work is based on individual case management and guided by individual implementation plans based on the assignment and each individual's resources and needs. Experienced and engaged staff create security, continuity, and quality in daily care work. About the Position The nursing assistant position involves standard care work for adult men and women with mental health disabilities combined with comorbidity and substance abuse issues. You work within an individual case management framework where you have overall responsibility for a specific client and strive daily to help each client achieve their goals and sub-goals. Your role includes, among other things: Support clients in ADL-related activities and situations and provide daily care focused on promoting good health. Follow reporting structures, ensure daily planning is conducted and followed, and document daily according to applicable documentation requirements. Support and guide clients through conversations and practical activities, while listening actively and creating a safe environment for them to share their experiences. Work with clients from different backgrounds and needs, including those with substance abuse problems or trauma, and identify and manage their individual needs and emotions. Collaborate with other professionals to provide a holistic view of the client's well-being and contribute to their development. Who Are You? We are looking for someone with great commitment and a desire to make a difference for people with mental health disabilities, often combined with comorbidity. You have a strong drive to help others and understanding of the psychological and social aspects of mental health issues. To thrive, you need to be empathetic, patient, and skilled at managing emotions and challenging situations. You also have good communication skills and adapt your work to each client's individual needs. We are looking for someone who: Is a trained nursing assistant. Has experience in psychiatric care. Holds a B-category driving license. Has good knowledge of the Swedish language. It is a merit if you: Have advanced training in psychiatry, substance abuse, MI, ESL. Have worked in this field previously. About the Employment Number of positions: 1 The employment is permanent; we apply a six-month probationary period. The employment rate is 100%. Working hours include day shifts, evening shifts, weekends, and on-call duty. Salary is by agreement, and other compensation is according to the collective agreement.
