The Social Services Department is responsible for providing support, care and assistance to people at different stages of life. We work based on the individual's needs and offer services built on several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Disabilities (LSS) and the Health and Medical Care Act. As a care assistant, you provide support in daily living to people in need of care. This can involve help with personal care, meals, transfers and creating a meaningful everyday life for the user. The work is based on individual care plans and aims to strengthen the individual's independence and participation. As an assistant nurse, you work to provide care and social support to people in need. You work based on individual care plans and are responsible for planning, implementing and following up on services that promote the user's independence, security and well-being. You work closely with colleagues and other professionals, and it is part of the role to document services according to current guidelines. The role requires good communication skills, flexibility and a professional approach – always with the user's needs at the center. Your duties include: - Personal care and support in daily life - Health and medical care tasks following delegation - Documentation in digital systems - Support to family members and collaboration with colleagues and other professionals Work can take place in various types of facilities, both in special residential units for the elderly and short-term residential units for the elderly. Work is scheduled during daytime, evenings and weekends, depending on the operation's needs. QUALIFICATIONS The work requires good collaboration skills, but also the ability to take responsibility and work independently. It is important that you are attentive, alert to changes and can handle both routine situations and more unexpected events in everyday life. You need to have the ability to document in digital systems according to current procedures. As an assistant nurse, you need a combination of professional knowledge, responsibility and a respectful approach. You enjoy collaborating but are also comfortable working independently. Your commitment and attentiveness to other people's needs are crucial for success in the role. We also see that you have: - Approved assistant nurse education with proof of protected job title from the National Board of Health and Welfare - Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing - B-class driver's license or alternatively cycling skills may be required depending on the operation.
