The Social Administration is responsible for providing support, care and assistance to people at different stages of life. We work based on the individual's needs and offer services that are based on several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Services for Certain Persons with Disabilities (LSS) and the Health and Medical Care Act. This can mean giving elderly people a safe and meaningful everyday life, supporting people with functional disabilities or being there for children, young people and adults in vulnerable life situations. We are looking for care assistants and nursing assistants for our home care groups in Varbergs Municipality, both permanent positions and temporary assignments. 20 position(s). As a care assistant, you provide support in daily living for people in need of care. This can include help with personal care, meals, transfers and creating a meaningful everyday life for the user. The work is based on individual implementation plans and aims to strengthen the individual's independence and participation. As a nursing assistant, you work to provide care and social support to people who need our services. You work based on individual implementation plans and are responsible for planning, implementing and following up on interventions that promote the individual's independence, security and well-being. You work closely with colleagues and other professionals, and it is part of the role to document interventions according to applicable guidelines. The role requires good communication, flexibility and a professional approach – always with the user's needs in focus. The work tasks include, among other things: - Personal care and support in daily life - Health and medical care tasks after delegation - Documentation in digital systems - Support for relatives and cooperation with colleagues and other professionals The work is scheduled for daytime, evenings and weekends, depending on the operation's needs. QUALIFICATIONS To thrive in the role, you need to be confident in yourself, have a respectful approach and want to contribute to a good work environment. You need to be thorough, service-oriented and have the ability to adapt to different people's needs. The work requires good cooperation skills, but also that you can take responsibility and work independently. It is important that you are attentive, observant to changes and can handle both routine situations and more unexpected events in everyday life. You need to have the ability to document in digital systems according to applicable procedures. As a nursing assistant, you need a combination of professional knowledge, responsibility and a respectful approach. You enjoy working together but are also comfortable working independently. Your commitment and attentiveness to other people's needs are crucial to succeeding in the role. We also see that you have: - Approved nursing assistant education with proof of protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare - Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing - A B driving license is required for most of the home care service. Some home care groups use bicycles instead, so you must be able to cycle. Experience from elderly care, disability support and/or social psychiatry is meriting.
