WORK TASKS The short-term residential facility at Stångehamnsvägen 139 is a home for children and young people with various disabilities aged 0-21 years. The facility is located in the Kristineberg area and currently has 12 registered children and young people. Together with colleagues, you will be responsible for providing them with support and guidance. You will form a positive team and contribute with qualitative and stimulating activities that help the children/young people have meaningful daily lives. The work team you will join consists of 16 people, with the unit manager as your closest contact. Collaboration with other units also occurs. The tasks as a care assistant are based on general care work with associated personal care. This may include, for example, tube feeding, transfers, personal hygiene, meals, etc. We also prepare all meals at the facility. The role includes documentation in digital patient records as well as medical tasks. Work hours are scheduled for day, evening, on-call, and weekends. The role includes some solitary work. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a nursing assistant degree or other education that the employer considers equivalent. It is a merit if you have post-secondary education in the field of disability/psychiatry and/or previous experience working with this target group. You have knowledge of low-arousal approaches and TSS (sign language support). A valid B-class driver's license is required, and you must be clear in your communication in speech and writing in Swedish. Basic computer skills are desirable.
