The residence consists of 7 apartments with attached living rooms and kitchens as shared spaces. Elvbacken is located in the Fårbo residential area with proximity to grocery stores and beautiful green spaces. Personal care is our focus. As a care assistant at Elvbacken, you work closely with our residents and create security, participation and quality of life. You provide individually adapted support based on each person's needs—from personal care, medical interventions and daily tasks to social support in both apartments and shared spaces. We work with a low-arousal approach as we see it is a successful method. Work duties include cooking, baking, laundry and cleaning as part of your responsibilities. Certain tasks are performed via computer such as documentation in our journal system, scheduling system, meal ordering, etc. As a care assistant you report directly to the unit manager and you perform care and service interventions in accordance with the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Disabilities (LSS) and the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL). You are part of a work group of 9 day staff and 3 night staff. Elvbacken works closely with nurses, physiotherapists and occupational therapists. As a care assistant you participate in service development, quality assurance and competence development together with your colleagues and manager. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a nursing assistant or have other education that the employer considers equivalent. It is meritorious if you are also trained with a focus on people with disabilities and/or have work experience with this target group. You have the ability to work in a structured and organized manner. You are careful and committed to meeting goals and quality standards. A B-class driver's license is a requirement.
