About the Position Årjäng Municipality is now recruiting an Area Manager for Personal Assistance. Responsibilities As an Area Manager within personal assistance, you're responsible for leading, developing, and following up on the operations together with your staff, coordinators, and management colleagues. You have personnel, work environment, and operational responsibility and work closely with the day-to-day operations. The role involves creating structure, supporting staff, ensuring quality, and contributing to the operations functioning in a safe and sustainable way. You'll be an important part of building functioning teams, developing work methods, and creating good conditions for both staff and service users. About You We're looking for you as a confident, clear, and present leader with a genuine interest in people. You have the ability to build trust, establish relationships, and make others feel included. At the same time, you're not afraid to make decisions, set direction, and create structure when needed. We believe you thrive in a role where you can be close to the operations, manage many contact points, and work solution-oriented in daily tasks. You're communicative, unpretentious, and find it easy to collaborate with both staff, colleagues, and other functions around the operations. Qualifications We're looking for someone with leadership experience who feels confident leading staff in an operation where relationships, structure, and collaboration are crucial. You have an understanding of disability care services and/or other areas such as elder care or social services. You thrive in a role where you need to be both present, solution-oriented, and clear in your leadership. It's important that you feel comfortable working independently, making decisions, and driving matters forward while having the ability to create engagement and good relationships in work teams. We'd like to see that you have experience with personnel responsibility, work environment efforts, staffing, or operational planning. Experience with change management or development of work methods is also meritorious.
