We warmly welcome your application to our eye clinic! The Nurse Role You will work at our care choice clinic as well as at our qualified eye care clinic. The clinic also has surgical operations, which as an ophthalmic nurse you have the opportunity to be part of. Your tasks will also include telephone advice and your own clinic with various patient groups within eye care, as well as teamwork with doctors and nursing assistants. The position also includes being a resource nurse with responsibility for acute examination needs that arise during the day, as well as administrative tasks. This position with us is a permanent full-time employment, daytime Monday through Friday based on the standard schedule. Start date by agreement. Your Future Workplace The Eye Clinics within Region Jönköpings County provide eye care in two areas – through care choice and specialized care. We have three eye clinics based in Eksjö, Jönköping, and Värnamo. The clinics treat various types of eye problems requiring specialist care and have both scheduled and acute visits, as well as advice, follow-up, and surgical care. Together we work across the region on eye care processes and collaborate on regional issues. The Eye Clinic at Länssjukhuset Ryhov in Jönköping provides eye care in two operational branches – open specialist care through care choice and qualified eye care. Within open specialist care, we treat most eye conditions, such as diabetes screening through retinal photography, glaucoma checks, cataract surgery, and acute operations. Within qualified eye care, we work with patients with age-related macular changes, children, and advanced eye surgery. The different professions within the clinic work together and strive for good medical outcomes. Staff members contribute ideas and drive the development of improvement work. Your Profile We are looking for you who are a trained ophthalmic nurse or licensed nurse with an interest in eye care for our clinic. As a person, you are confident, calm, and stable. You enjoy working independently but can also be responsive and have good ability to work with others. We see that you are a person who brings energy to your work, is curious and solution-focused.
