You will receive support from competent nursing assistants, opticians, ophthalmic nurses, and administrative staff who contribute to well-functioning outpatient and surgical operations. We are now looking for a competent and engaged colleague who is an ophthalmology specialist to join our outpatient clinic and help develop the business together with us. The Role As an ophthalmology specialist at Aleris Ögon Uppsala, you will work in specialized outpatient ophthalmology with broad outpatient work. You are responsible for investigation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of patients with various eye diseases. The work also includes referral assessment, documentation, and quality assurance according to current guidelines. You work independently but in close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team consisting of ophthalmologists, opticians, ophthalmic nurses, nursing assistants, and administrative staff. Patient flows are well-organized and create good conditions for an efficient and sustainable work approach.
