In home care services, you will provide care to clients in their own homes. As a home care worker, you will move around frequently during your workday using different methods of transportation—on foot, by bicycle, or by car. You may have scheduled visits both in rural areas and in central Ödeshög during a single workday. Given the amount of travel involved, you will need to be able to cycle and possess a valid Class B driver's license. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a home care worker, you play an important role in direct contact with our clients and serve as their trusted support—a meaningful and honorable responsibility, we believe! In home care, you provide personal care and assistance with daily living, including social interaction, help with personal hygiene, cleaning, medication administration, and delegated nursing tasks, as well as digital documentation. Work is conducted with careful attention to each client's individual needs. QUALIFICATIONS You must have: Be at least 18 years old A desire to work with people and a genuine interest in helping others Good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written Some digital knowledge, as much of the work is managed via computer or app As a person, you are responsible, collaborative, and engaged in your work. You treat both clients and colleagues with respect and professionalism. A valid Class B driver's license It is desirable if you: Have training in nursing care or similar field; if you are a certified nursing assistant, this is a strong qualification Have experience working with people in care or other service-oriented roles We Offer: A meaningful and enjoyable summer job where you have the opportunity to make a real difference!
