We are seeking an additional school nurse for student health services in Kumla! WORK RESPONSIBILITIES Student health services' mission is to work preventatively and promotively to contribute to creating learning environments that provide students with the conditions for positive development from preschool through adult education. With us, you will have the opportunity for close collaboration with the principal and others within student health competencies. We consider teamwork important for good student health. School nurses have the same supervisor and meet regularly in the school nurse group. You will have supervision together, support each other, and share your expertise while distributing overall work tasks. We view the medical component of student health services as an important part of preventive and health-promoting work, aimed at helping our children and young people achieve the best possible academic outcomes. The health-promoting work within student health's medical services is an important part of our effort to provide our children and young people with a strong foundation for knowledge and health. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking a licensed nurse with specialist training as a district nurse, pediatric nurse, or school nurse with a strong interest in working primarily with children and young people. It is an advantage if you have previous experience working as a school nurse. To succeed in this role and thrive with us, it is important that you are flexible, communicative, and have the ability to build good, trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. As a person, you are confident, responsible, and work well collaboratively. As a school nurse with us, you have an independent role and need to be skilled at planning and organizing your work. We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities. We will conduct ongoing selection and call for interviews during the application period. Employment form: Permanent position.
