We are seeking you to work as a temporary or summer substitute at night within elderly care. As a night care assistant on our home care night patrol or in our care homes, you will have an important role in providing care, support, and dignity. You will substitute for regular staff during their absence or work when the facilities have an extra need for night personnel. As a night care assistant, you play an important role in creating security and ensuring care during the night. Your job duties include: • Provide care and support to care recipients during the night • Handle potential alarms and acute situations • Document according to facility guidelines • Perform delegated health and medical care measures from the nurse QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking you who have genuine commitment to care and support. We want you to have previous experience working night shifts in care and support. You can work independently, are responsible, and comfortable working at night. As a person, you are calm, attentive, and empathetic in your interactions. You have a good ability to collaborate with others. It is advantageous if you have completed or are currently pursuing education in a care and support program, nursing program, or other appropriate care education. In all areas, you need to have good command of Swedish language both spoken and written, and be open to delegated responsibility for medication. You should have good computer skills as we work with electronic documentation. To work in our facilities, you must be 18 years old. A B driver's license is required for work within the home care night patrol. You need to be an experienced driver in darkness and in all types of weather conditions. Employment type: Summer job/Holiday work. Duration: 3-6 months, start date: Start date by agreement. This can be immediately, during spring, or starting in the summer. In our questionnaire, you will indicate when you wish to start working. In the questionnaire attached to the application, you will answer among other things whether you want to work full-time or part-time, and within what type of facility you prefer to work. You also indicate when you wish to start and which weeks you have the ability to work during the summer.
