We are now seeking two social workers in the children and youth department where the work tasks primarily consist of government case administration. Are you interested in becoming part of our team? About the Position Your assignment will involve investigating cases concerning children and youth based on referrals, or following up on approved interventions, depending on which group you will be part of. The Social Services Department in Tidaholm Municipality is characterized by cohesion and care for one another. We currently have all existing positions filled and our assessment is that personnel turnover is low, even though one employee will be leaving after the summer. Accessibility, clarity, and support from immediate management, as well as from colleagues, are values that received top marks in our most recent employee survey. We are now also expanding our group with an additional employee. The children and youth group includes eight additional social workers distributed between an investigation unit and an intervention unit, a senior social worker, a foster care secretary, and a comprehensive open care team that work closely together. Relatively recently, the open care team was also expanded to enable even more preventive work and meet new social services legislation. We continuously monitor workload to contribute to a sustainable work burden over time, which is a very important parameter for employee well-being. We have a support team that includes functions such as SAS (social coordinator), business development officer, and systems administrator. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or other education that the employer considers equivalent. We also see that you have experience in government administration within children and youth in municipal social services. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
