Montessori Mondial is part of AcadeMedia's elementary schools. Are you the right person for this position? We are a K-9 school with modern Montessori pedagogy located in central Kristianstad. We are looking for a new colleague for our middle and upper grades where the relationship between students and staff is important. The school has approximately 432 students. We are now seeking someone with great dedication to developing modern Montessori pedagogy in music. At a Montessori Mondial school, teachers are expected to have prepared the learning environment for their students or the student group they are responsible for. This means: - ensuring that the materials students need are in place. - the environment is appealing and clear, i.e., there is order and organization. - the learning environment contains various possibilities for work stations. - the environment allows students to move around the classroom without disturbing their peers. As an educator, you should build clear and professional relationships with all your students, act as a leader in the classroom, and have high expectations for student learning. We are now seeking someone who is qualified to teach music in middle and upper grades. You need to be calm, systematic, clear, and low-key in your approach to students, and you truly believe that they can succeed when they are able to. You are well acquainted with our curriculum guidelines, and student learning and the development of teaching are your primary and greatest focus in harmony with student well-being. Collaborating in work teams is a given for us, and we make each other better. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for a licensed teacher with qualifications to teach music. You get energy from contributing to others' learning and you create conditions for learning to take place. You encourage dialogue, participation, and engagement. You can balance different demands and remain calm in difficult situations. You have the ability to work together with others to accomplish tasks and reach goals.
