The Culture and Education Administration aims to offer the education, care, and inspiration that our small and large citizens need through different stages of life. The Culture and Education Administration consists of two departments - the School Department and the Preschool, Culture, and Recreation Department. Activities within the School Department include all school forms from preschool class to adult education as well as student welfare services. The Preschool Department encompasses all of the municipality's preschools and family child care providers, while Culture and Recreation consists of the library, cultural school, and youth recreation. Job Description As an educator at Munkedalsskolan's after-school program, you work together with trained after-school educators. Under the guidance of an after-school teacher, you participate in planning, implementing, and evaluating activities within the after-school program. In the role, you contribute to involving students in the after-school program's activities and collaborate and communicate with each student in the group as well as guardians and other professionals. You are familiar with and follow the applicable laws, policies, and procedures of the activities, and you document in the existing management systems. During school hours, you work together with trained teachers and support students in need of adjustments. Qualifications We are looking for you who have relevant education for the role; primarily after-school leader education or activity leader with secondary school education in children and recreation, but other educational backgrounds may also be assessed as equivalent. have experience working in after-school programs. have successfully worked with students in need of extra adjustments (meritorious).
