About the Operation Native language teachers and study advisors in Hylte Municipality are organized under the Language Center, a central unit within the municipality. Here, teachers work together with a focus on supporting students' language development and learning in their native language. The operation collaborates with various schools in the municipality and contributes to creating good conditions for students' development and participation in school. Responsibilities As a native language teacher in Turkish, you are responsible for teaching students in their native language in accordance with the curriculum Lgr22. You plan, conduct, assess, and document instruction using the learning platform IST lärande as part of a formative approach. Teaching takes place at different schools in the municipality after school hours, either in person or via distance learning. The role also includes actively working with the school's values and, from grades 6–9, assigning grades according to current grading criteria. When needed, you may also conduct Turkish proficiency tests and assist with translating documents and important information for students and guardians. This position is time-limited through December 2026, with the possibility of extension. Qualifications We seek someone who is committed to student learning and development and has a good understanding of the school's mission and governing documents. You work in a structured manner and adapt instruction based on each student's individual needs. You value collaboration and cooperation with colleagues and other professionals and see it as a natural part of supporting students' goal achievement. Active values-based work and student-centered teaching methods should characterize your instruction. Requirements: - Trained teacher with certification to teach native language (Turkish) and Swedish teacher certification, or equivalent competence as assessed by the employer as equivalent - Good knowledge of and experience with school governing documents - Ability to adapt instruction based on students' different needs and circumstances - Experience with or ability to work with formative learning and digital tools - Ability to work independently and collaborate with other professionals in the school - Approved grades in one of the following: SFI D, Basic Swedish course 4, or Swedish as a Second Language 1 Other Information Selection and interviews may take place on a rolling basis during the application period.
