Students should be given the opportunity to develop and strengthen subject knowledge based on their linguistic abilities. We are now seeking a Vietnamese native language teacher for Gävle Municipality's primary schools. The work is carried out in collaboration with other educators, student services, and guardians. As a Vietnamese native language teacher, your tasks are to: • teach the language • teach students about the culture and traditions of countries where the language is spoken Teaching follows a curriculum with a comparative purpose, which means you must also have good Swedish language skills. For students who struggle to meet learning objectives or keep up in other subjects, you as a native language teacher can provide support through study guidance. This involves highlighting or deepening students' knowledge in areas where Swedish concepts need to be clarified and discussed in their native language. The position is 20% QUALIFICATIONS To carry out the assignment, you must: • speak and write Vietnamese fluently • speak and write Swedish fluently • be able to work according to the organization's goals and follow planning It is important that you: • feel comfortable speaking, reading, or writing in front of larger groups of children or young people • have a relationship-building approach • can create open dialogue • adapt your actions based on the situation • have a humble approach in your collaboration with others We warmly welcome your application!
