We are now a Super Municipality! The Unit for Multilingualism organizes native language instruction, study guidance, and reception of newly arrived students. Teachers in the unit teach in 24 different languages. Through collegial learning, we continuously strive to improve and develop pedagogical practice. Our focus is on pedagogical development, professionalism, and work satisfaction. The unit has meeting rooms and workspaces at Torp School, a central location in Lerum that is easily accessible by train/bus. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Your assignment includes teaching students in German as a native language for both primary and secondary school. Study guidance may also be part of the position. You participate with motivation and enthusiasm in the meetings and professional development that occur for your professional learning. Planning, implementation, evaluation, and development of pedagogical work you do both independently and together with your work team. Once a week the work team meets for collegial learning and development of the operation where you practice, test, and share. The unit is divided into forum groups to create participation in the unit's shared vision. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you as a positive force in the work and someone who finds it easy to create and maintain good social relationships with those you meet, such as colleagues, students, and guardians. You are developmental in your leadership and collaboration. You are flexible in your pedagogical approach and meet students with respect, encouragement, and high expectations. In interaction with pedagogical staff at schools, you are collaborative and solution-oriented while being skilled at communicating what your assignment entails. Requirements: You have didactic knowledge in German and good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Native language teacher certification is desirable. For a permanent position, teacher certification is required. At least upper secondary school eligibility or equivalent is a requirement. Knowledge of the Swedish school system's governing documents. The work requires that you have good experience in handling digital tools. Meritorious: University courses toward education. Previous teaching experience. A driver's license and access to your own car is desirable since part of the position is itinerant.
