About the Role As a Software Tester, you'll be part of a team of about 30 colleagues. Together, you'll develop and maintain various applications and websites that collect data from Husqvarna's connected products. These can be chainsaws, leaf blowers, trimmers, etc. The team is divided into four different customer groups: Fleet Core (chainsaws, leaf blowers, trimmers, construction, batteries, also works in backend) – you'll be part of this team Fleet Robotics (robotic lawn mowers, also works in backend) Uptime Center (tools to see how it's performing for the customer in their fleet account, also works in backend) Foundation (shared backend services, user management, fleet account management, terms and conditions) You're responsible for testing work in an agile DevOps team with web, app, and backend. In this role, you'll collaborate with project managers, product owners, developers, dealers, and customers, among others, to ensure good and reliable products for Husqvarna's customers. The role combines system testing, troubleshooting, and product understanding. Examples of Responsibilities: The Fleet project is driven as a DevOps product to meet customer needs and verify new functionality. PM/PO prioritizes what should be built and tested, with close team communication. Testing is performed against design specifications to ensure correct data in various scenarios (e.g., battery tests). Bug fixes are verified and documented in Jira/Azure DevOps. Perform root cause analysis to identify where in the flow (gateway, backend, frontend) errors occur and provide findings to developers. Test integrations with new products and new battery features as well as connectivity modules. Participate in customer support and troubleshooting together with professional customers and dealers. Travel approximately 5 weeks per year to customers and dealers within and outside Sweden's borders. Responsibility for Husqvarna Fleet Services (app and web). Backend is AWS hosted and maintained jointly by the team. Your Profile We're looking for someone who has a genuine quality mindset and who is passionate about ensuring that solutions really work for the customer. You're curious, analytical, and enjoy digging deep into problem-solving – whether it involves software, connectivity, or hardware. You enjoy collaborating with others, dare to speak up when something doesn't meet quality standards, and want to continue developing and becoming a specialist in connected products. You value clear documentation and communication, both internally and toward customers. Mandatory Requirements: Post-secondary education (YH/University of Applied Sciences/Master's degree) in Testing/Software/Systems Development/Computer Science/Equivalent At least 3 years of experience with testing or development work with clear testing background Strong interest in testing Class B driver's license Ability to travel, approximately 5 weeks per year plus occasional travel days Meritorious Qualifications: Experience with issue tracking in Jira and/or Azure DevOps Experience with connected products, IoT, or systems with hardware and software Experience with backend environments and cloud services (e.g., AWS) ISTQB certification Husqvarna's Intro Program When you join Husqvarna, you do so together with several other people who are at the same stage of their careers.
