We are now seeking an engaged and service-oriented environmental worker for our Brista facility in Märsta. The Work Together with a dedicated team of environmental workers and staff, your main task is to operate a wheel loader in handling contaminated soil and demolition waste. You will also participate in the daily operations of the entire facility and are expected to take personal responsibility, help solve challenges as they arise, and when needed, perform work outside the machine. The role also includes customer contact with truck drivers as well as reporting and communication with scale personnel and production staff. As an environmental worker, your duties include: Operating a wheel loader (L180 Volvo) for loading, unloading, stacking, grading, and moving various materials such as excavated soil, stone, demolition waste, and fuel/wood chips. Communicating with and directing incoming trucks that need to unload, dump, or be loaded. Watering, cleaning, sweeping, and snow removal on facility roads. Daily inspection and maintenance of the machine. Bucket weighing/machine weighing. Reporting production and discrepancies in the app. Brista is in a development phase and the role may therefore evolve and change over time. On-call duties may be included in the position. Your Profile You are a self-driven, responsible, and attentive person with good customer service sense. You work well with colleagues and customers and are able to build good relationships. You are flexible, solution-oriented, and technically interested, with an interest in environmental and waste matters. For this position, you must have: Class B driver's license Wheel loader operator certification Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written It is a plus if you also have forklift certification and experience operating excavators, dump trucks, chain excavators, and/or material handlers.
