At Meliva, we value a healthy balance between high quality, a good work environment, and stable finances, all to ensure a sustainable operation where both patients and employees thrive and develop. The Role As an operations manager in specialist care, you have overall responsibility for leading, developing, and following up on both the outpatient practice and day surgery treatment. Together with a supportive team—consisting of unit managers, medical staff assistants, quality developers, a development coordinator, and an area manager—you lead the work of shaping the future of women's health. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues in gynecology and access to a large network of other operations managers. To facilitate your assignment, you also have continuous support from central functions in IT, HR, finance, marketing, and quality. Your role is broad and important, but you are never alone. Collaboration: Building strong relationships with Meliva's other healthcare units in specialist and primary care. Who Are You? We are looking for someone who is a confident and experienced leader with at least five years of experience, where a background in gynecology and open specialist care is a merit. You are passionate about coaching and inspiring your employees toward development, and you are driven to initiate and lead change work with an inclusive approach. With a sharp business sense, you understand the crucial connection between medical quality, a good work environment, and stable finances to build a long-term sustainable operation. You are analytical and structured, with a proven ability to translate strategic operational plans into concrete and measurable results. As a relationship-oriented and communicative person, you create a safe and open atmosphere in your work group, and you do not hesitate to make necessary decisions. Your development-oriented and action-oriented nature inspires progress and drives change forward. You have a pragmatic and holistic view of how medical quality, finances, competency management, and patient safety interact within specialist care. What distinguishes you in the role: You create structure, follow-up, and strong commitment in the operation. You think modern and forward-looking, but always with a stable foundation in evidence and patient safety. You actively contribute to strengthening Meliva's professional pride and culture by being present and engaged. You contribute to the operation's growth and distinction through a good work environment and high-quality care. Competency Profile: At least five years of leadership experience. Experience in open specialist care, preferably in gynecology. Strong ability to work data-driven, analyze results, and lead development initiatives. Ability to delegate appropriate tasks to create engagement, community, and sustainable leadership. Strong communication skills in both speech and writing.
