The position belongs to the Adult and LSS unit within Individual and Family Care and LSS. The Department of Individual and Family Care and LSS (IFO) is part of the Welfare and Care Administration in Uppvidinge Municipality and consists of five units, each with their own unit manager. There are also two senior social workers who provide case-specific support and guidance. We work with both authority administration according to the Social Services Act, LSS, LVU and LVM, as well as implementation of services according to the Social Services Act and LSS. We want to make social work a field where people with competence, ambition, and heart can develop and create a stable foundation for social work that is constantly changing. Development related to the new Social Services Act where preventive measures, flexibility, and collaboration are central, and we especially invest in developing support for parents with mental health issues and NPF through family-oriented residential support. Employment for people with psychiatric diagnoses to create meaningful activities and meeting places for community and well-being is also in focus. 1 position(s). DUTIES As an employee in residential support, you work close to people with mental health issues and/or NPF-related problems. You provide individually adapted support in daily life with a focus on strengthening independence, structure, and participation in society. The support can include planning and creating daily structure, motivating social contacts and activities, collaborating with other actors regarding the individual's needs, as well as family-oriented support when relevant. You work both independently and in a team in close collaboration with colleagues in other parts of IFO. QUALIFICATIONS You have education in social work, such as social worker, treatment pedagogue, social pedagogue, or other education that the employer considers equivalent. Experience in social work is a requirement, particularly in change work or work with the target group. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and interest in the target group within mental health and NPF-related issues. A B-driver's license is a requirement. We are looking for someone who is committed and passionate about social work. You need to be stress-resilient, persistent, and not afraid of challenges, as well as curious and a quick learner. You prefer to see possibilities rather than difficulties and enjoy the challenge of finding constructive solutions to complex problems. You are unpretentious and confident in yourself while also humble and attentive to others' perspectives. The position requires flexibility, that you are solution-focused and can work both independently and together with others to find sustainable solutions based on the individual's needs. We expect you to have good ability to prioritize and to ensure that what needs to be done gets done. Good treatment both in client contacts and in collaboration is self-evident for you. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment type: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent, start date: September 1, 2026 or by agreement. Working hours: Shift work.
