We are seeking an experienced Carpet Layer/Floor Layer About the Company Would you like to work at a complete surface finishing company that delivers comprehensive solutions for both interior and exterior surfaces. Flooring & Tile Painting Gävleborg is a personal company based in Söderhamn with local branches in Bollnäs, Gävle, and Hudiksvall. Their work area covers all of Central Sweden. Your Tasks As a carpet layer at Flooring & Tile Painting Gävleborg, you will work across several of their departments in Söderhamn, Bollnäs, Hudiksvall, and Gävle. The work mainly consists of: - Preparation work such as grinding, spackling, and leveling - Wet room work, including threshold installation and sealing/wall carpet installation - Installation of plastic mats, linoleum, and vinyl flooring - Pattern matching and welding of seams for a tight and aesthetic result The work involves freedom with responsibility, and you will plan a large part of your workday based on incoming assignments. Your Background/Your Qualities We are looking for someone who is an experienced carpet layer with pride in your craft and who appreciates both quality and good service. To apply for this position, we would like you to: - have 5 years of documented experience as a carpet layer - work independently and have the ability to plan your work - be thorough, results-oriented, and solution-focused - have a positive attitude and good social skills - enjoy customer contact and teamwork - be proficient in Swedish spoken and written - have a valid B driving license - basic computer skills What We Offer You Collective agreement, travel allowance, and accommodation if you live in another location.
