We are seeking a math teacher for Lillhagaskolan. You will teach mathematics to students in grades 7-9, where the focus is on differentiated instruction and creating an accessible learning environment. As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating student learning as well as mentoring. You create good relationships, both with students and with guardians, built on trust and respect. You are aware of your own impact on students' learning. Based on student results, research, and proven experience, you follow up on the quality of instruction, reflect, and evaluate in order to develop teaching. You provide forward-looking feedback to students with the aim of development and support students according to their individual needs. You collaborate with colleagues to develop yourself and your teaching as well as the school's pedagogical work. About the Activity Lillhagaskolan is a seven-parallel upper secondary school with just over 500 students and a competent and engaged staff of approximately 60 people. At the school, in addition to teaching staff, there is a counselor, school nurse, psychologist, special education teacher, study and career guidance counselor, and social pedagogues who together work preventively and promotively with safety and learning in focus. Many of us have worked at the school for many years and we are accustomed to supporting each other, but also to taking personal responsibility and working flexibly. We have very good goal achievement and constantly strive to become even better. Lillhagaskolan's goal is for students, through guidance and stimulation, accessible teaching and learning environment, to have the opportunity to develop according to their own conditions and achieve as much as possible. Qualifications You have a teaching degree with issued teaching certification and experience in grading and assessment. You have clear classroom leadership and are a positive role model for our students. You are flexible and have good collaboration skills, find it easy to build good relationships and cooperate with students, guardians, and colleagues. The students' conditions and needs guide the efforts. This means you need to have a good ability to, individually and in groups, adapt teaching for the students you are responsible for. Additional Information We want you to present a certificate from the criminal record and suspicion register before employment. In Nykvarns Municipality, individual and differentiated salary setting is applied. Nykvarns Municipality is a Swedish-speaking administrative area and we consider it meritorious if you speak Finnish.
